Kuwait Pillars Holding Company (Previously Kuwait Pillars for Financial Investment (K.S.C. Closed)-name changed with effect from December 04th, 2025 as per the approval of the extraordinary general assembly meeting held on September 03rd, 2025) is a Kuwaiti Shareholding Company Closed and was formed in March 2004 as a spin-off of the real estate investment division of KMEFIC. The starting point was the transfer of the real estate department to an independent real estate company under the name of Al-Awsat Real Estate Company. Subsequently, the extraordinary general assembly meeting held on August 10th, 2004, approved to change its legal classification from a real estate company to an investment company under the name of Strategia Investment Company (K.S.C. Closed) which provided all investments services and products. Accordingly, the company’s capital was increased from KD10 million to KD15 million.

The company’s capital was increased by distributing bonus shares during 2007 and 2008 to reach K.D 17,577,000. In December 2008, all the listing conditions were met and the company was listed in the Kuwait Stock Exchange. Due to the accumulated financial losses, firstly, the company increased its capital during 2010 and then reduced it again to KD 15 million.

During 2013, the company succeeded in increasing its capital by 100% to KD30 million.

During 2016, the voluntary delisting of the company from Kuwait Stock Exchange was on March 1st, 2016 based on the approval of the extraordinary general assembly meeting held during 2015 and the approval of Capital Markets Authority. In the same year, the extraordinary general assembly meeting held on October 4th, 2016, approved changing the company’s name to Kuwait Pillars for Financial Investment Company (K. S. Closed).

Based on the approval of the extraordinary general assembly meeting held on 4 February 2018, the company’s authorized capital has been determined at KD 50 million and the issued and fully paid-up capital has been determined at KD 30 million.

During 2025, the extraordinary general assembly meeting held on September 3rd, 2025, approved the transformation of the company into a holding company, amending the company name to become Kuwait Pillars Holding Company (K.S.C. Closed), canceling all securities and financial services activities, and amending the company’s activities to be consistent with the activities of the holding company.

Our Executive Team

 KPH is managed by a team of professionals with extensive investment experience in the local and international investment markets with strong international academic backgrounds. The team is based in Kuwait head office as well as in our Southport, CT office in the USA.

Vice Chairman & CEO

Mr. Mishal Habib joined Kuwait Pillars Holding in January 2011 as Chairman and Managing Director, with a very rich and varied business experience. In August 2014, he was appointed as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

He has worked in reputable Kuwaiti Financial Institutions for more than twenty years in various capacities. He is well qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Kuwait University, and has attended prestigious training programs including Harvard Executive Program for Leadership Development.

With such valuable exposures, Mr. Mishal Habib plays a pivotal role in the fast and institutional development of the company.

Executive Vice President –  Financial & Accounting

Mr. Ahmed Sobhy joined KPH in July, 2012. With over 20 years of experience he is responsible to oversees all company accounting practices, financial planning and record-keeping as well as financial reporting to higher management.

He worked in various institutions in different capacities before joining KPH. He was graduated from Cairo University (Egypt) in 1995 with a Bachelor of Commerce major in Accounting and completed his Certified Management Accountants (CMA) in 2004. He has also attended many academic courses in Finance, Financial Analysis, Internal Control Evaluation and Audit.

Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs and Governance & Board Secretary
Mr. Mohamed El Sayed joined Kuwait Pillars in December 2011 as Vice President – Compliance. Effective 1 July 2026, following the Company’s transformation into a holding company, he was appointed as Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs and Governance, while continuing in his capacity as Board Secretary.He is responsible for overseeing the Company’s corporate governance, compliance, and Board affairs, ensuring adherence to applicable legal and regulatory requirements and the highest standards of governance. He works closely with the Board of Directors, executive management, and subsidiary companies to strengthen transparency, accountability, and effective governance practices.
He has graduated from Mansoura University, Egypt, in 1998 and holds several internationally recognized professional certifications in corporate governance and compliance.

Vice President – International Investments

Mr. Ahmad Saleh joined KPH in September 2021 as Vice president – International Investments Department. He is analytical professional with 15+ years in fields of investments, finance and treasury. Mr. Saleh previously held several managerial positions with local investment and holding companies. He has also set on the board of several companies operating in investment banking, real estate, and food and catering.

He holds B.A degree in Finance and Banking from Applied Science University and Master Degree in Banking and Financial Sciences – Financial Management from Arab Academy for Financial and Banking Sciences in Jordan. Mr. Saleh is a certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the International Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts.
